Mental health is having the tranquility to accept what you can’t change, courage to change what you can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Most people think happiness is about gaining something, but it’s not. It’s all about getting rid of the darkness you accumulate, and harness the light by engaging in good deeds, both to the Creator and created.
Allah commanded that we be lenient to our adversaries, so that their soft human nature might make them to regret their actions and come to their senses.
Those who don’t appreciate peoples’ little efforts, hardly do they appreciate God’s countless blessings; the ones who hardly manage to overlook people’s little shortcomings, rarely find time to seek Allah’s forgiveness for their bigger ones.
When we dedicate our efforts in helping the needful, we will find solace in our own hardships. More appropriate are the words of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) when he said:
“Allah supports His slave as long as the slave is supportive of his brother…” [Reported by Muslim]
